How to Get Dressed Easier When You Have Little Time to Spare

The demands of life - whether you are going back to school, raising a family or pursuing your career - can take a toll on your schedule. It also can impact the amount of time you have to devote to your style.

Juggling a busy schedule may make it seem impossible to create a complete outfit. What do you do when you want to appear more pulled together and have little time to devote to your style?

Not to worry. Here are three ways you can manage to look stylish before you head out the door.

1. Eliminate Unflattering Items from Your Wardrobe

The first step you can take to look stylish when you don't have much time is to remove items from your wardrobe that do not flatter you. These items can include pieces that are not in great condition or out of date. That way when you get dressed you are not distracted by pieces that don't align with your style goals.

2. Plan Ahead

When you are getting ready for the day anything is bound to happen. You may need to tend to unexpected family matters such as caring for a child that has become sick. Planning your outfit the night before can save you time when you are getting ready for the day and be prepared for any unplanned mishaps.

3. Style Your Look

Lastly, you can style your look by adding accessories. What you could consider a basic outfit can be instantly elevated when you incorporate a few stylish details. Wearing a scarf or a cool pair of sunglasses can help you showcase more of your personality. You can also scrunch up your sleeves or add a waist belt to your jacket to cinch in your waist. These small steps can go a long way.

It's incredible how a simple necklace or belt can transform a…
